“Magnolia”… it’s the first movie I thought of when I saw the headline about him. I’m still feeling it too – last night I tried to imagine the depth of his need, emotional, physical? Both. And only this morning, the question now is about the heroin, an apparent epidemic of bad heroin back on the streets. Is it ever good, in any form or dose?
That movie is a haunting reminder of his apparent need, a blurring of art imitating life so seamless as to have no end. You couldn’t have chosen a better clip to define that…
