Good visit with John’s doctor today. He is totally overhauling his medication regime and putting him on a fairly new med that will be given in one injection every four weeks. Then he’ll get to go off most of the pills he takes. 🙂
John felt really positive about it, his symptoms were quite abated by the time we got there and he was much more stable by the time I got him back home.
Early intervention is where it’s at. Absolutely where it’s at.

I have been waiting, hoping you would be able to give an update. That is very good news, indeed! I hope the shot medication works well for John. I imagine getting off several meds would be a relief to him. I am glad that he is feeling better now. I am more certain you are exhausted—and probably running on adrenaline. May you have a restful sleep tonight.
I take many meds and the dreaded side effects are a major pain, so I can relate to you both. I feel for you.I’m so happy you had a better day, you both deserve it!
